Welcome to Peebles County Cricket Club. We’re a small club aiming to enable access to cricket for people of all ages and genders in Tweeddale. Our running costs such as insurance, rental of our Whitestone Park pitch and league membership can be covered by the training and match fees paid by our senior players. To buy and maintain our equipment, pitch and changing facilities, and to provide coaching to primary and secondary school players, we partner with sponsors every year.
This year in particular we are aiming to:
- Purchase helmets for our junior players;
- Install a bowling machine at Peebles High School to enable high-quality practice for seniors, juniors, and secondary school pupils;
- Replace the fencing around our square to ensure our pitch remains playable throughout the season;
- Refurbish our tired-looking pavilion, currently owned by SBC
